Welcome to the Student Nurses Association of Cal State LA!
It is my privilege to serve as your faculty advisor and sponsor. SNA is dedicated to fostering professional development, growth, and leadership in nursing for decades. Members of SNA stayed informed on nursing, healthcare trends, and legislative issues that impact the nursing profession. For the past ten years, our Chapter has experienced unprecedented growth and incredible success under the leadership and guidance of Chapter Presidents and fellow Officers. This year, we celebrate the 65th anniversary of NSNA and I invite you to actively participate and join us in creating the future of nursing together.

WHAT IS SNA?
Founded in 1952, NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students.

NSNA’s mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession.
